Vimla Lalvani and American Beauty Bar Ltd
The company was incorporated in 1986 by Vimla Lalvani to bring natural health and beauty products to the marketplace. American Beauty Bar Ltd has successfully launched many new products in the retail sector:
| 1987 | US brand "Hers" Shaving Cream for Women launched in Boots (230 outlets). |
| 1988 | US brand Freeman's "Shine Line" hair styling product launched in Boots (230 outlets). |
| 1989 | The Natural Therapy Company "Hair Rescue" launched in Boots (230 outlets). |
| 1990 | Herbavita natural hair colorant launched in department stores includes: Harrods, Selfridges, Fenwicks, also health stores and pharmacies (100 outlets) |
| 1991 | Fountain of Youth yoga video launched in W.H. Smith. Now also available in Boots and HMV Record Stores. |
